So Much Bullshit Goin On

There's so much bullshit going on in the news today that I'm not going to add to the stench of it with my opinion. For instance, the Israeli airstrikes in Syria,"Jena 6"(I think Al Sharpton's got that covered anyway). That kid getting tasered in Florida or the woman getting tasered in Ohio. I know these are wartimes, but I mean seriously, can we just get a break from the violence for just a day. It seems like it's not newsworhty unless ,someone gets arrested for something, someone gets shot with something, or someone dies from something.

Oh yeah, almost forgot... the people who control our mass media know that there's nothing more captivating than watching a human being scream for their life while 50,000 volts of electricity are running through their body. Cause after all, if you get out-of-line or voice your opinion to strongly. This can happened to you, too!!! And also, there's nothing more profitable than violence.

Is it because inside of us there is that little violent streak that yearns to lash out from time to time??? Usually towards our spouse or our boss, but we don't because we know it's wrong. So we just try to live it out vicariously, by watching shows like, The Sopranos or UFC. Or idolizing movies like The Godfather, Scarface, or Training Day. Why did it take for Denzel to portray the most ruthless, unscrupulous, corrupt human being, before being granted an Oscar by the Academy???

I say we make this an Anti-tel-lie-vision weekend. Instead of getting trashed on Friday and spending all of hungover Saturday watching the idiotbox. Get trashed Friday and on Saturday go see a local soccer game, or go out to a park and enjoy the serenity of nature(if it's nice where you are), pitch a tent, get a sleeping bag, make a bonfire, roast some smores, tell scary stories, catch a shooting star, make a wish...just get out and live. Cause before you know it, December's here. And it'll just be you, some food, and the tube.
